Intellix IT Solutions
Structured · Read-only · Practical

A clearer view of what your business exposes to the public internet.

Your website is only one part of your public footprint. Intellix reviews your domains, email security, public services, hosting signals and visible digital surfaces through a structured external methodology, then turns the evidence into a practical action plan.

No passwords requested. No internal access. No disruptive testing.

7

A repeatable external review process from discovery to prioritisation.

70+

Technical evidence for your IT team and a plain-English summary for decision-makers.

The methodology

Seven stages. One clear action plan.

Each external posture review follows the same structured sequence. The aim is not to generate a long scanner export. It is to identify what is visible, explain why it matters and show what should be fixed first.

01

Discover your public footprint

We map the domains, subdomains, services and platforms publicly associated with your organisation. This helps identify forgotten assets, legacy systems and services that may no longer be actively managed.

02

Review visible configuration

We assess the public configuration of your website, domain and email channel. This often highlights practical issues that can be corrected quickly, such as weak email protection, certificate problems or missing browser security controls.

03

Map reachable services

We identify the services and digital surfaces that an external visitor can reach. The aim is to understand what is visible, what is intentional and what may have been left exposed over time.

04

Safely validate exposure

We carry out carefully scoped, non-destructive checks to confirm how public surfaces respond. The review is read-only and rate-conscious. It is not a penetration test and does not involve exploitation.

05

Review public code and historical traces

Modern websites can reveal useful clues through publicly delivered code, third-party scripts and older infrastructure records. We review these signals to identify avoidable exposure and outdated assets.

06

Add external context

We compare your public footprint with relevant external signals. This helps distinguish a low-priority technical observation from an issue that creates a realistic business risk.

07

Turn findings into a practical plan

We translate technical evidence into a prioritised action plan. Each finding is assigned a severity, a recommended owner and an estimated level of effort, with a clear view of what should be addressed this week, this month and this quarter.

Beyond automated tooling

More than a scanner export.

Automated tools are useful, but they are not enough. A scanner may produce a long list of technical observations. It does not reliably tell a director which issues create genuine risk, which supplier should fix each problem or what should be corrected first.

Intellix combines structured technical review with senior interpretation. The result is a brief your technical team can work from and a summary your leadership team can understand.

Common alternative

A generic scanner export

  • ·Large list of technical observations
  • ·Limited context
  • ·Unclear ownership
  • ·No practical fix sequence
  • ·Difficult for directors to interpret
Recommended

An Intellix external posture review

  • Evidence-led findings
  • Business impact explained
  • Recommended owner for each issue
  • Prioritised remediation plan
  • Clear outputs for both technical and non-technical readers
Stack-aware

Adapted to the technology you actually use.

The core external review applies to every organisation. We then adapt the assessment to the technology behind your public presence, avoiding generic recommendations and focusing on the systems your business depends on.

What this is not.

This is not a penetration test.

Credentialed internal reviews are available separately where a deeper assessment is required.

  • We do not attempt to exploit vulnerabilities

  • We do not guess passwords

  • We do not access customer data

  • We do not enter internal systems

  • We do not interfere with business operations

Clear enough for directors. Detailed enough for technical teams.

The goal is not to generate a 200-page export. The goal is to show what is visible, explain why it matters and provide a practical route to improve your posture.
