Why we built Keystone for Cashel Blue — and who it's for next
The problem Cashel Blue asked us to solve
Jane and Sergio at Cashel Blue have been making cheese for four decades. The team knows every pallet, every milk supplier and every retailer by name. What they didn't have was a single workspace where the batch sheet, the COA, the dispatch note and the retailer export paperwork all lived in one place.
Sage didn't fit. A €40k ERP didn't fit. A sticker printer and Excel kind of fit, but audits were painful.
What Keystone actually is
A production workspace. Not an ERP. Not a CMS. A focused tool that handles the moving parts of a cheese, charcuterie or bakery operation:
- Batch recipes, yield and production logs.
- Certificates of Analysis generated on demand (< 4s on the Cashel Blue live dashboard).
- Dispatch notes and pallet labels.
- Supplier & customer records.
- HACCP / BRC / Bord Bia paperwork as a by-product of production — not a separate audit scramble.
Who it's for next
If you're an Irish food manufacturer running a €40k ERP you don't use, or a stack of Excel files held together by one person's laptop, we'll do a 30-day pilot on one production line. If the numbers don't move, we walk away. If they do, we earn the wider rollout.
